The year almanacs start from the month you order and roll forward — you always get a full year ahead from now, not a calendar year that is already half over. The one-month options let you pick the next month or a month shortly after.
The Personal User Manual is about who you naturally are — it does not change year to year. The Year Almanac is about what kind of season you are in — it is all about timing. Many readers keep both: the Manual as the map, the Almanac as the weather.
