What is He Luo Li Shu?
It is a method from the I Ching tradition that converts birth-chart stems and branches into numbers and hexagrams. This calculator displays the resulting numbers, hexagrams, and Yuan Tang line.


What are the Heaven and Earth numbers?
They are number totals derived from the stems and branches of your birth chart. The method uses them to select trigrams and build a hexagram.


Why do I need a birth hour?
The birth hour helps determine the Yuan Tang line and later parts of the reading. If your hour is uncertain, those parts of the result should also be treated as uncertain.


Is the result a prediction?
Use it for personal reflection. A repeatable calculation shows that the method is consistent for the same inputs; it does not prove that the interpretation predicts real events.
